The team at Criterion is happy to reassure fans of Burnout. No, the series is not dead and the studio has no intention of abandoning it. Now that their work on the latest Need for Speed: Most Wanted is finished, the game's release is set for October 30, developers will again address the Burnout franchise for which projects are already in study.Except for the Burnout Crash available for download, no new game has emerged since Burnout Paradise which was released in early 2008.
